The President presides at all meetings of the Local Lodge; decides all questions or disputes not controlled by laws of the I.A.M.; countersigns orders and checks properly drawn on or by the Secretary-Treasurer; appoints committees not otherwise provided for; appoints an Educator and Communicator; administers the obligation to new members; enforces the laws of the I.A.M. applicable to Local Lodges. and members; and performs such other duties as may be required by this Constitution and, in case of a tie, shall cast the deciding vote.
